Peter was born in New York and raised in Arizona where he received his degree in Art from the University of Arizona in 1967. He moved to Los Angeles where he worked as an apprentice in a bronze foundry. He traveled extensively in South America, Asia and Europe studying art before settling in Australia. There he worked as the Art Director for the Queensland Museum in Brisbane and as a sculptor. Peter has produced large sculptures for theme parks such as Sea World, Dream World and the Toronga Zoo.
Peter relocated to the US in the 80’s to Seattle and then San Francisco continuing as an artist. In the 90’s Peter returned to the Sonoran Desert to continue his love for art in the Southwest.
Peter’s art reflects his love and respect for animals and nature. He creates with the desire to bring spirit, magic, insight and intuition to all who encounter his sculptures.
