Andy Warhol (1928–1987) "Self-Portraits" (1986) This unsigned lithograph is from one of the American pop artist's most popular series. The 20 x 16 inch sheet has been matted and framed measuring 24.5 x 18.5 inches. For the original work (in the National Gallery of Art) Warhol used four photographic images of himself (with his trademark “shocked” hair) and silk-screened them, off-kilter, onto a 6-foot square canvas. The result is four big heads set in sharp colors against a glossy, dense black background. Shipping is free in the USA.
