Romain de Tirtoff aka ERTE (1892 to 1990) was a Russian born French artist and fashion designer known by the pseudonym Erte, the French pronunciation of his initials, R.T. This work of art, known as "LEGERETE" (1978) depicts an ethereal woman with yellow flowers in her hair, floating in abstract space with alternating bands of blue and red forming a fan motif. The image is from "The Twenties Remembered Again: A New Portfolio by Erte." It is a color screenprint, signed in pencil, numbered 233/300, with the Circle Fine Art blind stamp in the lower right.
