Laddie John Dill (b. 1943, American) Original drawing/study (1972) on yellowed graph paper for a sand and glass sculpture. Hand signed and dated in the lower right and inscribed, “For Judith – love & thanks – Laddie” in the lower left by the painter/sculptor. The graph sheet measures 17 x 22 inches, and it has been matted and framed, measuring 24.5 x 30.5 inches. In the 1970’s, Dill began working with various materials, including neon, sand, cement, glass and natural pigment to create three-dimensional conceptual art in addition to his easel paintings.
