In the 1950’s, the artist created a series of black and white works consisting of kinetic motion patterns dispersed into grids and divided into small sections, known as his ‘blanc et noir’ period. This aquatint etching was published by Georges Fall, Paris, measures 21 x 28 inches, is numbered 68/150 in the lower left and signed by Vasarely in the lower right.
