Joan Miro (1893 – 1983, Spain) “Sculptures I” (1974) Open edition lithograph in colors on BFK Rives paper, plate signed by the artist, published by Maeght Editeur, Paris, and printed by Arte Adrien Maeght, Paris. The image measures 16 x 25 inches, and with the mat and frame, it is 24.5 x 32.5 inches. The work has not been examined outside of the frame; appears to be in very good condition. The image is an example of Miro’s unique combination of surrealism and abstract art in his own distinct style and use of shapes in bright and primary colors set amongst solid strokes in black. Literature: Mourlot’s Catalogue Raisonne of Miro’s Lithographs (Volume 5) as M. 950.
