Artist Cheston Trammel uses local and native Alligator Juniper wood in many of his furniture pieces. Using a portable mill and sustainably sourced, Cheston harvests ancient trees (estimated to be between 900-1200 years old) that were brought down in forest fires on the Mogollon Rim. The charred edges and burn marks in this wood remind us of its life's story.
