Tim Yanke (b. 1962, USA) “Yanke Doodle (Thin Blue Line) A” (2019) is a limited-edition, double-sided acrylic sculpture of the American flag featuring the words of “The Star-Spangled Banner” written between the lines and across the colorful, multi-layered work of art. Made with archival UV ink, it is numbered XCV/CC (95/200) in the lower left and hand signed by the artist in pigment in the lower right. The acrylic measures 10 x 15 x 1 inches, and it has been placed on a tiered base that is 2 x 19 x 4.5 inches resulting in an overall size of 12 x 19 x 4.5 inches. A Certificate of Authenticity from Park West Gallery accompanies the sculpture. Tim Yanke is known for creating abstract art as well as his American flag designs that he calls ‘Yanke Doodles’. This piece will surely add a pop of patriotism to any room.
