In the 1930's Walt Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was the 1st Animated Full Length feature film with both Color and Sound of its time! Walt chose Snow White from the Grimms' Fairy Tales because it felt right! It had fantasy characters, magic and intrigue, everything he wanted for his first film.
In the 3 years it took to complete, everyone told Walt it wouldn't work to make animated shorts into a full length film, it was a crazy idea, they didn't have the technology for it but Walt wouldn't listen. He pushed the boundaries of the medium by combining imagination, technology he would create, talent & artist inspiration. That combination would produce the Snow White that changed film making forever & has given us a classic for all times!
