Hand signed by the iconic Pop artist and numbered as an Hors Commerce (not for sale) proof (HC 3/100) in the lower margin. Embossed with the “Peter Max Copyright” seal in the lower left margin. The image measures 12.25 x 9.25 inches, and with full margins, matting and frame, it is 31.25 x 28.5 inches. Provenance: Park West Gallery with Certificate of Authenticity and Appraisal. Max created the image of ‘Angel with Heart’ to show love and compassion. It was one of the leading images of Max’s expressionistic period of the ‘80s and ‘90s.
