(After) Frederic Remington (American, 1861-1909) - “Wooly Chaps” - Museum Quality Bronze Reissue. The iconic bucking bronco and rider is featured on a marble base measuring 10" high x 7" across, and approximately 5" deep. Remington used Roman Bronze Works casting and the lost wax casting process to create "Wooly Chaps" based on the previously issued, famous bronze sculpture known as "Bronco Buster," but included changes in the wooly chaps, the horse's tail, and the textured hair of the horse's body. One of the originals of this work of art by the great western artist was presented to Theodore Roosevelt in 1903. Shipping is free in the USA.
